OLLO

Overview:

OLLO is a reconfigurable kit targeted to beginners and younger generations to get interested in robotics and express their creativity. It has been widely accepted in Junior High Schools and others and was tailored for people 8 years and up.

The OLLO Robot System is one of the fastest and easiest systems to build and program robots, even for people with no robot experience. It is also one of the best solutions for hands-on activities at science museums, camps and other various events. The provided Workbooks, Software, Code Examples and the All-in-One Curriculum makes it the number one platform for Education.

Controller:

The CM-100 Controller is equipped with various ports for external devices. It uses the newly improved RoboPlus Task Software to download the program and control the behavior of each component. This controller includes a sound sensor, distance sensor, light sensors, a microphone and built-in buzzer. The OLLO controller can be assembled onto any other OLLO parts using rivet connection.

Programming:

The OLLO Robot System from Robotis uses the same Software the Bioloid Robots System is using. Working with the RoboPlus Task Software is easy. By choosing and clicking on your modules, the Software will automatically create your code, which can be adjusted to your needs.

Body:

Robotis offers a variety of OLLO Education or Entertainment Kits, but each part or module can also be purchased separately. All the Educational Kits come with a curriculum, from 12 to 24 week for Teachers or Students. You can also add you own body parts or peripherals, like a metal ballcaster for Line Following or others.

Mobility:

Make your creations mobile with the geared motor or the geared servo motor. With the OLLO rivet method, they will fit on any part and in any angle. The servo can also be set to continuous rotation and it will behave like the geared motor.

Modules:

You can easily add different modules to your robot, like the IR sensor for object detection, the touch sensor to detect contacts or the LED module with it's orange and blue lights and don't forget: The CM-100 Controller Box already includes a sound sensor, distance sensor, light sensors, microphone and built-in buzzer for lots of applications.
