More than a year ago there was a new Project called Romeo from a company called Aldebaran Robotics, the maker of the well known Humanoid Robot NAO.

Now the first video showing that Romeo is alive appeared.

Romeo is designed to help around the house, assist people and yes, even taking out your garbage.

It can also be your own surveillance, telepresence bot and of course interact with people....the possibilities are endless.

It won't even turn mad like you see in those movies (although we love those :o), because this is a REAL robot!

Thanks to TheAmazel, we can show you a video in english and french.

The Okawara-Mecha Battle Tournament took place on Saturday February 18th 2012 in Tokyo and we grabbed a video from one of our friends to show you, how quickly robots are evolving now.

The one on the right is called ZAKU II and is an impressive customized humanoid robot. The taller robots usually suffer on speed due to the strong but slower servos to carry their weight. This bot is already half the size of a human and still moves pretty quick.

BERSERGA IMITATE, the white one on the left can walk and drive with it's wheels plus shoot with a gun!

While roboticists are still very fond of the Kondo system, some of the builders are starting to use different actuators like robotis servos and electronics.

Who says you have to stick with the standard robots in the manuals? With the OLLO Robot System you can literally build anything as this video shows. You can begin with the low cost Action Kit or Starter Kit, get yourself familiar with it, later upgrade to the OLLO Explorer or OLLO Inventor Kit, or simply buy the parts you need for your project.
